The EZClaim billing software allows the Diagnostic Imaging Center to create patient demographics and claims from ordering physicians—from simple tests to unique coded service lines to include unique modifiers if needed. It also has the ability to repeat a test MRI or X-ray encounter if needed for any future visit.
The system can also use the National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry codes—unique to providers—to submit lab order slips with just a name for the referring physician (Box 17 on the claim).
